When designing landscaping and a yard for a client with a dog, it is important to consider both the needs of the client and the needs of the dog. One key consideration was creating a safe and secure environment for the dog to roam freely. In addition, it was important to choose plants and landscaping features that are dog-friendly and durable. Planting sturdy and non-toxic plants, such as ornamental grasses, also provided a safe and comfortable space for the dog to play. Another consideration is providing shade and shelter for the dog, especially during hot or rainy weather. This can be achieved by planting trees or installing a covered area, such as a pergola or dog house.
