The first step was to assess the current space and identify any changes that needed to be made to improve functionality and aesthetics. The ideas was to create an open-plan layout, which allowed for easy communication and collaboration among team members. This was achieved by removing unnecessary walls and partitions and using furniture, such as screens or bookshelves, to define different areas of the office. In terms of color scheme, a strong palette with dark greenish color created a calm and professional atmosphere. Lighting was also an essential element in interior design, especially for an office environment. Natural light use was maximized because of the large windows, while artificial square lighting was used strategically to highlight specific areas of the office or to create a warm and welcoming ambiance. Storage was another important consideration, as an architectural office often requires ample space for plans, drawings, and other documents. Built-in shelves, cabinets, and filing systems helped keep the space organized and tidy, while also serving as a decorative element. Lastly, incorporating plants or other natural elements helped create a calming and soothing environment, which was especially beneficial in a high-stress workplace.
